An autumn walk

For  those of you that have been following for a while you will know that we live in Hamilton, New Zealand, very close to some spectacular gardens, maybe even best gardens in the world! This afternoon we took a family walk through them, and in the fading  afternoon light I took these photos – which I thought I’d share with you…

I love this photo, but for the leaves, the fish could be swimming in the sky!

Hamilton Gardens April 2015 14 Hamilton Gardens April 2015 15Autumn really is a lovely time of year – the nights are cool but the days are bright and warm. The leaves are changing colour, but there is still so much in bloom. What’s your favourite season? What’s the weather like where you are? J xoxox

It’s spring here in central Illinois, USA. Love the colors of spring! That said, my most favorite season is Fall. I wish it lasted for 6 months! In fact I’d gladly give up some winter in order for Fall to hang around longer.

Lovely gardens, btw! What a nice family time.

The pictures are beautiful….looks like a wonderful place to visit. It is supposed to be spring here in New York but still waiting for the weather to get warmer and the flowers to bloom.

Here in the Adirondack Mtns. of northern NY, our nights are COLD (20 degrees F. last night, used the woodstove!) But, the days are in the high 50’s, feel like 60, bright blue sky and warm sun. Few budded trees or flowers, but my dear purple croci (crocuses?) are up, and gladden my soul!

It’s Spring here in Texas. All the wildflowers are in bloom (the bluebonnets are beautiful) and everything looks green. I love Spring and Autumn, my two favorite seasons.
Your photos are Great. Enjoy your Autumn.

Here in northeast Victoria Australia, it is Autumn. Beautiful time of the year. Apart from today – all rain! But we need it! Thanks for sharing your pics!

Autumn is my favourite season. I’m in Australia but originally from Scotland, and a Country NSW autumn means days like the very height of a rare and short lived Scottish summer 😉

Here in UK it’s spring. We’re enjoying spring flowers like daffodils and waiting for everything else to come into bud. Coming out of the winter season we’re enjoying seeing some blue in the sky and the odd bit of sunshine and warmth. Love your photos – looks beautiful!

I love the planning phase of Autumn. I have just propagated about 40 fuchsias to get ready for Spring. Your photos are beautiful and childrens energy just seems to keep growing. My 14 year old runs and trains for gymnastics every day. Unfortunately my energy seems to be decreasing. LOL! ❤
