Summer is in full swing here, its hot, but not only that, the humidity is verging on ridiculous. Needless to say the thought of crocheting wool isn’t that tempting just now 🙂
So instead I’m working on something suitably light and lacy… in a lovely cool shade of lightest blue 2ply cotton: What are you working on at the moment, something seasonal? How’s the weather where you are? Janette xoxo

Cold, wet and windy here in southern UK – working on an Attic24 CAL, Cosy Stripe Blanket: http://www.daffodilwild.wordpress.com/2015/01/25/cal5/

Oh that looks lovely. Keep having flurries of snow here in the uk. I was working on a top but have lost my enthusiasm for it so started a circles in squares blanket yesterday. I’ll return to the top at some point I’m sure. Enjoy your warm weather x

Another comment from the south east UK,cold and showery this morning! I love your lacy crochet, please show when you have finished. I am working on many things (as usual) but have just finished a little cottage doorstop. Also bought the comic relief magazine Crafternoon yesterday as it has some crochet patterns in. Enjoy your sunshine!

It’s cold in the Southern US and there is a chance of rain changing to snow flurries. I am working on a shawl for my daughter. Your light blue lace is very pretty, and I always do my lace crochet work in summer, too!

Central IL, USA is where I reside and we currently have a winter storm watch with 4-6″ of snow on the way. We shall see. I think these weather “experts” are more like Chicken Little (“The sky is falling!) than scientists.
Your lace is beautiful! I”m working on a blanket and a doll, in no particular order…and I’m working on sewing grocery tote bags from old blue jeans!

That is gorgeous. I just finished all the gifts for Valentine’s day, and am currently cross stitching a picture I will frame for a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law. Then while we are still freezing here I have a few sweaters I plan to crochet and put away for next Christmas. Like you I don’t enjoy working with heavy yarns in the summer.

Very cold here in SW Virginia! Maybe a little snow or rain later today. I am working on a circular vest to wear for Valentines Day. Your flowers are beautiful and so is your lacy blue crochet. Enjoy your warm (hot) weather. Before you know it, it’ll be time for you to be cold again. Thanks for your beautiful patterns. You inspire me to work harder and learn more. Pam

With a very blustery cold sea wind off the English Channel I found it too cold to be out, so I’m home again pattern hunting for new Spring projects itching to get started on the yarns I’ve brought back from Germany. Only draw back? My hand is out of action for a week or two (hope a week!) after a small op’.

your work looks lovely. Working with cotton is a favorite of mine even though I haven’t actually made many things with it. It is also very hot here and I am working on amigurumis. The temperature doesn’t matter to them. I am also working on a pattern which will be sold in a “real live shop” ❤
