Jack frost came visiting

It was bitterly cold here this morning…Frosty morningFrosty flower Frosty silverbeet Frosty flower 2 Frosty flower 3 Frosty kale Frosty daphneEverything glistened in the early morning light under a thick coating of ice, so I couldn’t resist braving the cold with my camera. We are heading for another one tonight -4 C which is VERY chilly for us! But I love this weather, the days that follow a good frost are so clear. What’s it like where you are? xox

    Hi janette
Your garden looks beautiful coveted in frost. The weather is England is beautiful at the moment. Hot and sunny. We all broke up from school yesterday for 6 weeks! This is a major event in our house as I am a part time teacher, my husband is a head teacher (principal) and my daughter just finished her first year at school. 6 glorious weeks together! Yippee! So fingers crossed the weather lasts. Have a great day x

Oh that sounds lovely Angela, we just had two weeks holiday, my husband is a teacher too so I had a week off and we spent a week together as a family; 6 weeks would be heavenly 😀

Here in the Netherlands the weather is “tropicaL” as we call it 😉 it’s going to be about 31C today! and that will probably last for only 2 days, followed by rain and lightening…

It is raining and will be 22C (71 F) here today and then the heat moves in and it will be about 32C (90 F). It is supposed to rain for the next 8 days, but we need the rain. I have a huge gardening bed of tomatoes and cucumbers that could use a drink! I look forward to our first frost and the beautiful fall weather to follow it!

Ho Janette, I love your frosty photos. It’s HOT HOT HOT here. 30 degrees and humid. That’s really unusual for us, even in summer.
    Keep warm.

Your pictures look beautiful. It was so hot in London today, around 30 degrees I think! Not complaining though, nice to actually have a summer! But it was HOT!
