Slow

Crocheting in the afternoonMy latest project is taking a while, its big and intricate. There’s no rush, I’m enjoying the crochet meditation and plodding along. I love using these big cones of yarn slowly unwinding and the satisfying feeling of the wool flowing through my fingers, row after row. Crocheting in the afternoon 3Unfortunately the urge to begin another (quick) project is almost… a-l-m-o-s-t overwhelming me.

Beautiful colour! Looking forward to seeing the end result. I too love those slow plodding type of projects. I’m still working on my hexagon blanket but think my next project will have long, soothing methodical rows. Have a great day x

I did just that! I have a huge bunny I’m making and all I have to do is get the legs and arms done, couldn’t resist the temptation and started a quick doily project! Your project is beautiful! I love intricate patterns! Hugz Lisa and Bear

Your pictures of teapot in its cozy, teacup on a crocheted coaster, green yarn and your beautiful project reflect serenity and joy! Thank you for sharing

Hi, random small sellers of yarn… Usually (like this one) it’s homespun. I’d love to give spinning a try someday too, but at the moment I just don’t have time!

I loove that colour x I always have 4 or 5 different projects on the go and do whichever I feel like doing at the time which always keeps the inspiration fresh when making – unless of course, there’s a time limit and then I drop all else and crochet crazily!!!

I wish I could do that, but if I do I never finish them and that really bugs me (and the fact I have a whole draw of unfinished projects… really bugs my husband!) Im determined to finish this one this weekend!!! xx

Yes I agree, some times it’s lovely to have a project on the go that you can pick up and put down (if you can!) and a beautiful crochet one is perfect, love the colour, will you be showing us when it is finished?
    Best wishes, Jay
