I’m loving these late summer days…
Amazed by the talent of a clever face painter at a birthday party we went to this weekend… Can you tell we went to see Frozen recently? So impressed I got a little arm art painted on myself…Wondering about Maia’s desire to have a barbie photo shoot!
Scoffing lots of delicious homegrown tomatoes (these ones are Black Krim)… They are especially good on toast for brekkie!
Visiting the Hamilton gardens, and especially enamored by the kitchen garden this year…
Inventing loads of healthy juice concoctions since I got a juicer a couple of weeks back, my current favourite combo:
Working away on my cheery throw….
So pleased with the way it’s turning out, love the grey… It really makes the colors pop!
Still sipping my nightly sleepy tea. The tags may be my favourite part! Preserving plentiful plums, everyone loves this plum sauce…
Licking lots of ice creams… Purely to cool down of course. Don’t sprinkles make everything better? Hoping you have a lovely day tomorrow! What’s happening in your world this week? J xox
I do love to read your blogposts – I still find it a little mind blowing that we’re opposite seasons, with you in late summer and here in the UK we’re experiencing an awful wet winter still! Frozen was a massive hit with my two girls too – Maia’s face paint looks amazing. Love your blanket – the grey is perfect! I’m making lots of jewellery at the moment and have loved crocheting wire to an amazing effect with gemstone nuggets incorporated 🙂

Heehee love the barbie photo shoot! I’ve finished crocheting a few amigurumi gifts for some friends. Now that I’m done with that, I guess I have to stop procrastinating and start organising our move back to Australia!

Its a beautiful sunny day here in England, for a change; clear blue sky and not too cold at about 6 degrees C! Fed up now with the gales and oceans of rain we’ve been having, but more due apparantly. At least we haven’t flooded here, unlike many places. I took the chance to pop into the garden just now to have a look round and found some spring flowers starting, so hooray, hooray, spring is on it’s way!! Jen

I on the New England Coast and we’re revving up for another storm. I opened my emails this AM and saw your sunny bright images of the delicious tomatoes, absolutely yummy looking juice and your crochet project and thought how perfect a snow day that would make for me. Just what need to make & do on a dreary day with a cold coming on. Thank you for the sunlight and inspiration!
