This weekend was quiet, the last before the new school term starts. I got a new ‘pet’ which put me in the mood for baking some delicious bread and some feijoa muffins for school lunches. Both kids and I indulged in some watercolor painting, a spot of gardening, and of course there was (maybe more than) a little crochet. Notice how untidy that office desk has become? I must tidy it up… tomorrow.
I hope wherever you are, your weekend was/ is (if you are on the other side of the world) a good one!
…still some hours left!!! a good one, anyway!!!!!

It looks like you had a very busy weekend! I had a nice weekend, I did some housework yes, but I also got to spend a lot of time out in the garden with my 14 month old!

I think all of you girls have your priorities absolutely right – play with the children while you have them – they will remember the fun things and playing with Mum and Dad not if the house was tidy.

You had so many great activities this weekend! I’d love to put so much creative effort forth as you do. It’s rare we get to really appreciate the time we’ve got but it looks like you put it to good use ๐

I spent some of my Saturday crocheting while my other half baked bread and bagels. There’s something so comforting and relaxing about the combination of crafting and the smell of home baked bread in the oven x

Aha, Herman has come to stay??! I’m not sure what your crocheting at the moment but I love the different yarn colours and textures together….can’t wait to see what it is! Looks like you’ve had a very productive weekend! As family life should be….. best part of our weekend was a new addition to the family…a baby French Lop bunny with the biggest ears and feet and the longest eyelashes I have ever seen on a rabbit! And she’s called Myrtle…she’s a pale silver grey…adorable (if you quite like rabbits that is!) xx

Love your weekend! Yes sometimes you should just do things you like and not tidy up ‘everything’ inbetween. I like that. should do it more often. Especially when the kids are at home..weekend time and you really should use your family time together. Love your hen autumn picture!! Just lovely.
