As I mentioned a few days ago, Ive just made some new curtains for Maia’s room.
They are quite pretty, purple and green stripes, with a nice glittery sheen but not so girlie that she will outgrow them in a year. Unfortunately taking photos of curtains for a small window is not particularly interesting – plus the light (coming in from outside) is all wrong.
So here’s a glimpse inside her room…

They look great, I really like the fabric. Her room is so tidy! Even with the threat of a photo my boys would still have trouble tidying up!
I have been wanting to make some bedding for Rose, but am trying to be aware of fabrics that will give her a few years growing. Nothing that will look too old for her now or too young in a few years!

It is tricky to get something not too babyish, plus all she really wanted was princesses (which I imagine a 10 year old would not be proud of!!!!). 30 minutes after these photos were taken it looked like a tornado had whirled through (as usual)!!

I like Maia’s room.I really like the fabric. Her room is so tidy.. The curtains gives the extra shining to her room.Every daughter should have the rooms like Maia’s room.
