Saw a dragonfly. Made a couple of squares for this blanket with lots of love. Photographed loads of flowers. Made a soap saver. Went for a walk around the local gardens – how do kids find water to play with wherever they go? Worked away on my next project… hint its a bit like this but for a small person. The kids made a fairy house at the local park… I made magic, this morning there was a note from the fairies and fairy dust everywhere! Finished my monarch. Wore my grannies and loved it. The photos… not so much. More flowers… loved that its summer! How was your weekend?

I don’t know where to start! Thanks so much for joining in with the Beautiful Blogger Blanket…the squares look gorgeous…they are going to fit in really well. Kids always do find water..and get so much pleasure from it too…I don’t think we ever lose that do we? (Just spent 30 minutes in a rather delicious shower). As always your watercolors are amazing.. what do you do with them? Maybe you should sell them online…..The flowers are 2 of my favourites…how did you know! Glad you had a lovely weekend Janette..mine was a bit colder, less outdoors and probably the same amount of crochet :)x

Beautiful pics….I teach preschool so I know exactly what you mean about kids and water….if they can’t find it outside then the bathroom sinks are always a good source of fun!!!! Beautiful paintings, I’m VERY jealous as I can’t draw a straight line! Love the fairy visit…we have a fairy garden at school and the kids love it when they find ‘evidence’ that the fairies have been…. lol x

Hello Janette
thanks for your lovely comment on my blog about my socks, I feel rather chuffed with myself for having made them but i must not be smug :0) It sure does make you appreciate how much effort goes into hand-made clothes. This post is too beautiful and colourful and just makes me happy with all those joyful flowers and summery days with your sweet children. It sure makes up forthe grey miserable weather we are having here xox
