Saturday morning it was wet, the kids were bored and wanted to do some painting, which we did – in the garage so as not to get paint from one end of the house to the other (been there). Fun!
Want to know what is more FUN? Adding dish washing liquid to your paint and making bubble prints!
Its very easy…
Put acrylic paints into containers, add a squirt of dish washing liquid and a little water…
(While you are waiting have a grape and discuss among yourselves how long it could take Mum to do something so simple and really, does it need a photo?)
Grab a straw and blow!
Hold paper over the top of your bubbles.
Try not to think about the mess you will have to clean up afterwards…
Love it! your ideas for keeping the kids entertained are so creative and fun 🙂

This looks like so much fun! I’m sure my kids would suck the paint up if I let them try it – I may wait a while 🙂
I’m so glad you saw my post featuring your gorgeous smiley girl and your lovely crochet. (I have pinned quite a few of your creations actually 😀 )
Hope you’re having a lovely week

What kind of paper do you use?

I just used regular white paper, from an art pad I think if my memory serves me right 🙂

I think I might have to do this just for myself

I’ll be doing this one with the grandkids during March Break next week. When I taught Nursery School we used food colouring and dish soap with inexpensive printer paper. Children love this craft. Thanks for reminding me. 🙂
