Really great patterns!! I love all of them. You are very talented
Thanks so much for your kind comments Joanne
Wonderful and useful patterns and very generous of you to share them. I liked all of them but particularly liked the flower pillow and the cheeky monkey hat. I plan to make the flower pillow and when I have finished I will post a photo. Also the jar pin cushion topper is quite ingenious. I thought I knew all there was to know about pincushions but never thought of this excellent idea! It is true, one is never too old to learn. LOL. I recently showcased a variety of pin cushion ideas on my blog. May I direct people from my web page to “the green dragonfly” to view your wonderful patterns?
I am about sustainable living and that very much includes making and repairing things by hand.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments, absolutely that would e fine. Janette
I LOVE your patterns!! Easy enough for a beginner, yet look so proffesional!
Thanks Allyson- if you make any send me a pic I would really love to see how they turn out!
I love them all! What yarn are you using?
Jessie I use all kinds of yarn and I have a big stash of vintage yarn from my MIL- Ill try to note down what I use in future
I have a dozen hearts made!! Now just to chain them together. I’ll try to send you a pic when done.
Are these US or UK stitches?
Hi, all patterns use US terminology. Janette
hi Janette, your crochet tutorials are just fantastic! also love your kids craft ideas, your children must have a ball at home. Just wondering about the cotton yarn that you use for your crochet, do you know if it is available through the internet at all? it looks really lovely and not fuzzy like the cotton yarn that i have, the colours are brilliant. Love the dianthus top that you made, the colours look amazing. thanks so much for sharing.

I like your patterns. nice and colorful too!
Wow, what an amazing website… Your creations are amazing and inspiring. My mom taught me to crochet at an early age, but of course, I didn’t pay attention. Now that I’m older and with a 3 1/2 daughter, have started to get back to it. I consider my self a beginner since, I didn’t pay attention way back when… I will try to do the hair ties for my daughter. Being a fan of dragon flies, I love the name of your website…
Thanks for your kind words Linda, I too started crocheting again when I was pregnant with my first child and haven’t looked back!
I said I’d let you know when I was finished with your hearts. Here is my blog where I posted a pic of the finished garland. I love it! thanks for the pattern!

I came across your blog when I saw someone share your Easter bunnies on Facebook. Your patterns are so pretty
I definitely plan on trying some of them. I noticed above one of the pictures you said people can have the patterns for their personal use. Does that mean you prefer people not sell what they make from your patterns?
I came across your blog while searching for doily patterns for my pinterest page. I really love it! And thank you for being so willing to share patterns–I really appreciate it & you have some wonderful ones. Blogs like yours inspire me to one day have my own and share patterns, ideas, etc. THANK YOU!!

You have some pretty, fun and very useful patterns. I love to make things for the children I know. It is great of you to share your patterns!
Hi! I have a Facebook page with a lot of followers and I’d like to share your patterns on it, showing the link to your page. Is that possible? Thank you in advance
Hi, that would be great. Thanks! Janette xx
Gracias!!!!!
Lovely blog!
Hi Janette
You have some lovely things on this site. I was wondering if I may sell anything I make. I will of course put labels crediting your patterns if I sell through any of our various markets around here, or link through if I sell through e-bay, Gumtree or maybe the Etsy shop I am trying to set up (trying being the operative word – having problems). I live in Australia in a little rural area. I am really looking forward to making the Rosy Posy Tea Cozy, Cheeky Monkey Hat and the Caity cat among others. So cute. Different too. Just what people look for. I don’t have a website of my own – wouldn’t know how to set one up
back in the early eighties,,,they had crocheted dolls ,,,,I am interested,,,I love this program,,,,
